Hello, May!

Hi Parents!

April swept through with a flurry of beautiful activity—and what a month it was!

We began with a delicious and delightful gathering in our Made to Make series: a plant-based kids cooking class. The kids rolled up their sleeves and dove into hands-on culinary creativity. The food was a hit, but the fellowship was even better! One sweet little voice from the community asked, “Can this happen  every Sunday?”  That kind of joy and anticipation is exactly what we hope for in this ministry. We're so excited about this growing branch of our kids' programming and look forward to even more STEAM-inspired moments that help our children explore their God-given creativity.

April also brought a shining moment from our Kids Creative Arts Ministry (Kids CAM) as they performed their Spring production, “Made New” for the Easter worship service. It was a moving and beautifully presented reminder of the hope and transformation we have through Christ. I am incredibly proud of their dedication, and growth.

And May is off to an exciting start! The CVC Kids CAM Choir opened the month by performing “Love for All”, an original composition by Sullivan Dutra, at the 41st Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. It was an honor to have our children lift their voices and represent our community so beautifully.

Meanwhile, our CVC TruthSeekers (Adventurers) joined families across the region at the Kansas-Nebraska Spring Camporee. 18 of our kids and their families camped under the stars, played, praised, and prayed together. It was a weekend full of connection, fun, and the sweet presence of Jesus. We are already looking forward to many more weekends like this in the new season.

We have so much to be thankful for. As you glance through the upcoming events and opportunities for our kids, I ask that you take a moment to pray—for the planning, the preparation, and the volunteers who make it all possible. Your partnership in prayer and presence truly blesses this ministry.

As always, I’m here if you have any questions, ideas, or feedback. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for pouring into the lives of our children.

Joyfully in Jesus,
Pr. Nicole
