Meet Pastor Cameron Fitzgerald
Pastor for Young Adults
Hi! My name is Cameron Fitzgerald, and I have the privilege of serving as the Young Adult Pastor here at College View Church.
It’s one of the greatest joys of my life to walk alongside students and young professionals as they wrestle with big questions, discover who God has made them to be, and step boldly into a life of faith that is both creative and courageous. My heart beats for helping people encounter the living God in ways that are authentic, transformative, and lasting.
I would describe myself as a dreamer, storyteller, and builder. I thrive on painting pictures of better futures, creating spaces where beauty can emerge from brokenness, and reminding people that their story is not finished yet. At College View, I get to invest that energy into Canvas—a new multigenerational worship service launching this Fall 2025 where creativity, artistry, and worship collide to reveal God’s masterpiece at work in us (Ephesians 2:10).
In my role, I focus on creating worship environments, mentoring relationships, and community rhythms that help people move beyond surface-level faith into something deeper and more resilient. Whether it’s through preaching, worship leading, coaching leaders, or simply sharing a meal, my aim is always the same: that every young adult would know they are seen, loved, and invited into God’s ongoing story.
When I’m not in ministry spaces, you’ll usually find me coaching soccer, hockey, and golf, or dreaming up new creative projects and writing worship songs for artists around the world. I believe that worship doesn’t stop at the church doors. It flows through our songs, our art, our play, and our everyday lives. My hope is that through this ministry, young adults will encounter God’s presence in ways that ground them in grace, stretch their imagination, and call them to live with purpose and courage.

Beyond the church, Lincoln Young Professionals builds connections for faith and career life.
This Fall 2025 we also launch Canvas, a contemporary worship service designed as a creative, grace-filled space where God transforms our stories into something new. Canvas is a new multigenerational modern worship service designed to reflect God’s beauty emerging from brokenness. It will be a space where music, story, and art weave together to remind us that every life is a living canvas of God’s grace.
- The Well (Saturdays at 9:30 am in the Young Adult Room): College students, join us for breakfast and worship! Gather with us for teaching, worship, and conversation that meet you right where you are. It’s a place to explore Scripture, ask honest questions, and experience God’s presence in community.
- The Good Life Sabbath School (Saturdays at 9:45 am): For post-collegiates navigating careers, relationships, and life after graduation, The Good Life creates a space to grow in Christ while building friendships and finding encouragement for the everyday journey of faith with open, discussion-based Bible study.
