Youth Group Blast

December 26, 2025

Dear Parents

This Sabbath our youth will gather around an agape meal and a powerful reminder that God is with us. With Christmas this week, the timing could not be more fitting. Over the past several weeks we have been studying the 2300 day year prophecy and how it points clearly and intentionally to the moment God would step into human history. Immanuel was not accidental. God promised when He would come, and He did. Christmas reminds us that God chose nearness. He entered our broken world to dwell with us, and that same God is still with us today.

During Sabbath School we will actually be sharing an agape meal together as part of our time. We will connect that experience directly to communion and community. As students sit together, share food, pray honestly, and slow down enough to really see one another, they will be reminded that God often shows up through His people. When God feels silent, He draws us toward each other. Communion becomes community, and community becomes one of the clearest ways students can experience Immanuel right now.

Connection Points

This week, I encourage you to spend a few minutes talking with your teenager about our lesson. Consider building your conversation around Matthew 18:18-20 and these questions:
•  Where in your life do you most need the reminder that God is still with you
•  Who has been God’s presence to you during a difficult or lonely season
•  What do you think makes real community hard for teenagers right now
•  What could your family do this week to be more intentional about being present with each other
Have a great time exploring these topics. Thanks for your prayers and support!
